The Art of Packaging Design
By Prinzo Team
Packaging is often the first thing a customer touches. Good packaging protects the product, communicates what it is and reflects your brand.
Begin with the product: its size, weight and fragility decide the box style and board strength. Get these right before working on the artwork.
Then plan the artwork on the flat die-line. Place the logo, product name and key information on the faces customers will see first, and keep important text away from folds and glue areas.
Finally, think about the finish and the unboxing. Choices such as matte or gloss coating and inserts change how the pack feels. Request a sample for a new pack before ordering a full run.
